A Therapist Each, or One in Turn
Both arrangements exist for a couple and they make different evenings, so the question to answer first is how much room the night has rather than taste.
It is the question couples ask earliest and worry about most, usually phrased as though there were a correct answer being withheld. There is not. There are two arrangements, they feel different, and the thing that decides between them is almost always the clock rather than the preference.
One therapist, working with the two of you in turn
This is the slower evening. There is a good deal of waiting built into it by design, and the waiting is not dead time: one of you is being worked on and the other is in the room, which produces a particular kind of unhurried evening that couples either love or find slightly odd.
It suits people who are tired. It suits a first booking, where two people are not sure what they want and would rather find out gently. And, length for length, it comes to precisely half the price of a therapist each.
A therapist each
The denser version. Nothing waits, both of you have the whole of the booked time rather than half of it, and an hour does considerably more work. It costs a couple twice the shared rate, and that doubling holds at every length from the hour upwards.
It is also the arrangement that fits a narrow window, which is why it comes up so often on a pre-cruise evening. Where the two of you have until ten at night and no later, a therapist each turns ninety minutes into a complete evening for both people instead of forty-five minutes each.
The clock decides more than taste does
Run the two through a real night. A couple boarding at eight in the morning has until about ten at night. Ninety minutes with one therapist, starting at half past eight, gives each of you roughly half of that time. The same ninety minutes with a therapist each gives you both the whole of it.
Now run it through the night you come ashore, where nothing is printed on the morning. Three hours with one therapist is entirely comfortable, because the waiting has somewhere to go. Suddenly the slower arrangement is the better one, and it costs less.
What does not change either way
Each therapist decides what her own session includes and states her limits at the start of the visit in her own words. Where two come, each speaks for herself and neither speaks for the other. Nothing about a second person in the room alters that, and nothing about a larger figure does either.
Both people in the room have to be twenty-one or over, and both have to have agreed to the booking, which she checks when she arrives rather than assuming from a thread she never saw.
The deposit, on a two therapist booking
Any booking with two therapists carries half the fee in advance, whatever the notice and whoever is asking. That is one of the standing cases rather than a rule about couples. Two hours with a therapist each therefore has half its fee fixed in the thread, and the matching half is due when the two women arrive.
In practice a cruise couple meets the twenty-four hour rule first anyway, since the booking was made from home weeks earlier.
Asking for two particular people
You can name both, and the earlier you write the more likely both answers are yes. Two specific women on a specific Friday in high season is a narrower request than one, so say whether the hour matters more than the pairing or the other way round. What comes back is who is free for the hour you asked about.
The room, in both versions
Neither arrangement asks anything unusual of a hotel room. A bed with space beside it, a bathroom, somewhere to put things down. Two therapists do not need twice the room, and nothing is carried in or installed in either case.
What a second person does change slightly is the doorstep. Two arrivals means two documents possibly asked for and two sets of limits stated, which takes a minute or two at the start of the visit and is worth expecting rather than being surprised by.
If you cannot decide
Book the slower one the first time. It is the cheaper evening, it is more forgiving of two people who do not yet know what they want out of this, and couples who then want the denser version know exactly what they are asking for the next time. The profiles on the roster carry every figure for both arrangements, at every length, for one guest and for two.
